Arktiske Fugler concert visuals
For this project, I developed the concept and created visual projections for the Arktiske Fugler* concert, part of the True Northern Arts festival.
Early in the collaboration with the light designer, we agreed on creating an ephemeral, poetic, dreamlike atmosphere — while still embedding recognizable visual cues referencing the ecological crisis in Norway.
A key part of the project was the recreation of the extinct arctic bird, the auk, to connect different timelines.
The process included: creation of initial moodboards to establish tone and mood; experimentation with AI-generated images and video to find a suitable aesthetic; a mix of 3D animation and AI-generated visuals to bring the concept to life.
/*The Hærens musikkorps performed works including Grums by Agnes Ida Pettersen, La Mer by Claude Debussy, Jellyfish Lake by Molly Kien, and Cantus Arcticus by Einojuhani Rautavaara./
